3M Grip Tape is the crème de la crème of grip tape. It has a soft, textured surface (33 mils, 0.8 mm thick) that is long lasting and abrasion resistant. It's translucent so that the tubing or tape underneath is somewhat visible. It also adheres better, so it will stay on your hoop longer than most other gaffer tapes.
150' and 100' rolls are only available in 1" width.
To figure out how much tape you may need:
Calculate the circumference (hoop diameter * 3.14) for all the hoops you are wanting to add 3M to. Add them all together and divide by 12. That's how many feet you will need.
Example: If you have five 32" hoops...
32 * 3.14 = 100.5100.5 + 100.5 +100.5 + 100.5 +100.5 = 502.5
502.5 / 12 = 41.8 ft.
Therefore, you would need a 50' roll of tape.
